Kliff Oday who co-founded SiSwati group, Nativz Squad has come up with a new single track featuring one of Squad’s members Kaspero in the track titled “That Thing”.
The hip-hop song, which is already making rounds on Radio stations and parties have already earned its space in the Internet, downloads.
Kliff Oday say he has featured Kaspero, Tiza, Flame and Marafisa, which is his aim to get the best in the province’s talent and also to nature some.
Kliff Oday who hails from Limpopo Seshego say’s his love for music started when he was very young hence he moved to Mpumalanga in 1997 where he co-founded Nativz Squad which went to become a house hold name with its hip-hop and rap in SiSwati language.
He also worked as a DJ and Producer at Barberton community radio and also presented the Kasi Express show in BCR.
Kliff Oday also worked with “Maputo Song” hit maker, Sdunkero, as a composer and producer for artists like, DJ Madumane, DJ Steavy, Pussy Cat and Kaspero.
“Having done lots of things I have decided to go back to the studio and share my work with the World hence not being selfish but include some of our guys likes Kaspero.
That thing it’s a song about people’s visual life-style where they claim to have “That Thing, on social media and in real life they do not have such. Some even post with cars and excellent relationships which they do not have at all, here is to just break that” said Kliff Oday.
“That Thing” is Kliff Oday’s first’s release under his own company called Khaya Media which produce music, takes music videos and the company is the one behind the first Mpumalanga online TV called “MITV”.
“That Thing” can be downloaded online on ITunes and other online downloading platforms, like googleplay, sound cloud, spotify and more.
Kliff Oday say his aim is to help young artists in the province to get a break through in the hostile industry especially for people coming from the province where the Sun Rises.
